Huh, another Sonic vs Shadow in my gallery...

wow, this is very nice! i'll start with the negative. most people like bad news first, right? also, heh, there isn't much! the main thing is, i feel like i've seen this picture before. i HAVEN'T, but i'm talking about the look. sonic and shadow fighting, from a boring horizontal view. they're also using moves that you'd expect. basically, this picture is predictable. just some small details: it feels like there should be some curve in sonic's shoe. that's a matter of opinion, really, but i think it'd give it a more "animated" look. another opinion thing, but i think they should have shadows. critiques aren't complete without positive stuff, so i'll move onto that!

i like the shading you did, mixing soft and cell. i like how you did faded effect markers to show motion. also it's cool that you have shadow's shoe slightly lightened from below, from the energy path he leaves. so overall, i'd like to so something more unpredictable, but what you did is outstanding in technique and attention to details! great job!

Not too bad with this one. As usual, your shading seems to carry a hand-done job, which I think your talent really shines with! I can also see the gradients where you used them, like on Shadow's shoe for example! The background is slightly a bit too much for me. Too much visual noise, you know?
My only issue is the lines. It would have been good to tint them or something, because they seem to clash with your shading. Makes it look incomplete.
Regardless, this is a very nice piece! It'd make a good wallpaper! Be sure to keep up the good work!
